Due to a family health crisis, all D-Squared concerts in Idaho, Oregon and Washington, from July 4 to August 5, 2007, have been canceled until further notice. We will keep you posted if there are any changes. If you need to get in touch with the venues and have lost their contact info, please drop us an email at d2@dsquaredmusic.com and we will get that to you.

We are happy to once again work with Jody Drake and the Blue Rose Theater’s Tenderfoot Workshop. The play, “Once Upon a Time, Long Ago and Far Away”, was written by Jody. Featuring the music of D-Squared, the play is acted by children, ages 10-14. We work with these kids for the entire month of June and it culminates in four performances; Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, June 28, 29, and 30 and 7:30 PM and a Saturday matinée performance on June 30 at 2:00 PM.

We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be playing this weekend at the Raven Cafe, Saturday, June 9, at 2:00 PM as part of the First Inaugural of the Chaparral Music Festival in Prescott. The Raven Cafe is located at 142 N. Cortez St. in downtown Prescott (map). We’ll play a 45 minute set and Deb has promised to debut at least one of her brand new songs.

There will be lots to see and do, workshops to participate in and musical acts playing in the Elks Theater, the Raven Cafe, and the Prescott Public Library. And it’s cooler in Prescott.

D-Squared will be playing the beautiful El Pedregal Plaza Stage at The Boulders, in Carefree, AZ, Sunday, April 15, 2007 from NOON to 3PM. William Meldrum, our favorite percussionist in the known universe, will be joining us for this show so we expect to have extra fun. April is a beautiful time in the desert so forget about your taxes and come join us. Admission to the event is FREE.
